In addition, the expected quintet of Reiss Nelson, Joe Willock, Eddie Nketiah, Matt Macey and Josh Dasilva all trained along with first-team squad members Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Chuba Akpom.
With regards to senior players, Per Mertesacker, Mohamed Elneny, Granit Xhaka, Jack Wilshere, Shkodran Mustafi, Alexandre Lacazette, Theo Walcott, Nacho Monreal, Hector Bellerin, Alexis Sanchez, Olivier Giroud, Aaron Ramsey, David Ospina and Petr Cech trained.
Laurent Koscielny, Alexandre Lacazette and Mesut Ozil were rested from the session, with Alex Iwobi joining an injury list that also contains Jeff Reine-Adelaide, Mathieu Debuchy, Calum Chambers, Francis Coquelin, Danny Welbeck and Santi Cazorla.
Is Rob Holding fit and available?
Fearing we will see either Elneny, DaSilva or Maitland-Niles in the back 3 😦
Looking at the training pics… could this be the team?
Ospina; Mustafi, Mertesacker, Maitland-Niles; Nelson, Willock, Elneny, Nketiah; Walcott, Wilshere; Giroud.
