Report: Arsenal’s Dan Crowley set to join Willem II in permanent move

Arsenal midfielder Dan Crowley is closing in on a permanent move to Dutch side Willem II, according to reports.

The 19-year-old, who was left out of Arsenal’s squad for their pre-season tour, will sign a three-year deal with the Dutch club after undergoing a medical, as reported by Voetbalzone.

Crowley had loan spells away from Arsenal at Barnsley, Oxford United and Go Ahead Eagles, and particularly impressed in the latter stint.

The prospect is set to leave Arsenal without having made a competitive first-team appearance for the club, despite having shown his ability in many youth matches since joining from Aston Villa four years ago.
