Arsenal’s Jeff Reine-Adelaide ruled out for rest of the season

Arsenal youngster Jeff Reine-Adelaide has been ruled out for the rest of the season due to injury.

The prospect, who can play as a central midfielder or out wide, has made six senior appearances for the Gunners this season but hasn’t featured in the Premier League.

Reine-Adelaide will hope to return to full sharpness in time for pre-season training.

  1. JB – off topic, but would love your insight our views on this.

Of the 36 players currently on the books, born 1995 or earlier, who do u think will not make the 25 next season. Assuming that is there are no new signings if not we could be looking at around 15+ players not making the cut.

    1. Would expect Debuchy and Jenkinson to leave. Strong stories of Lucas Perez and David Ospina moving on. Chuba Akpom, Matt Macey and Yaya Sanogo would be obvious choices to leave. Rob Holding and Calum Chambers would be possible loans out if we keep Gabriel and Per (and Bielik). Then the English lads Wilshere, Gibbs and Ox could possibly go.
Would expect Elneny or Coquelin to be moved on – but that would be with replacements signed.
Cannot see Jon Toral stepping up. Expect Takuma Asano to remain on loan.
Very much doubt Szczesny or Campbell will return.

So there are 14-18 players before even considering the departure of Alexis Sanchez.
