  1. Bielik, Nwakali and Bennacer certainly seem to be the youngsters doing the most out on loan. Bielik especially has pushed forward. Would assume a full year on loan next season, then really be ready to fight for a place in the first team.

    1. And for Chubs now. Not sure how much either deserve their second one though, both teams were pretty much up before they joined and neither played a significant role.
Still, a medal is a medal and can hopefully inspire them on.

  2. George & Atid what are your assessment of nwakali, zalelem, toral & Crowley performance this season? Which of them do think make it into the first team?

    1. Zelalem has barely played and will not make it at Arsenal
Nwakali has looked good, and shown a bit of leadership qualities. Still very much at the start of his Arsenal career and has a long way to go before being considered for first team.
Crowley struggled at Oxford, but has found it easier to adapt his skills to the attack-minded Eredivisie. Probably found his level, though and won’t make it at Arsenal.
Jon Toral just hasn’t got enough to step up for Arsenal imo. Good player, may make a mid-table PL side in the future but not a top team.

  3. Personally I don’t think any are ready for our first team. Toral is probably the closest in terms of age, but is he any better than others in his position? Next season he would need to take a spot in the 25. If he has signed an extension, then I would give him until January to prove himself in the first team squad, otherwise I think he will be leaving this summer.

The other 3 still have age on their side and really need a big season with a big club, if they are to force their way in the season after next.
