  1. I honestly don’t understand why we send some of these players on loan. Just release them. We’re paying for the wages and upkeep when they come back from being on loan and they’re never gonna make it. Some of em don’t even make the bench. It’s madness.

    1. Players are under contract, if you terminate contract there must be some penalties. Also, bad treatment of players wouldn’t improve our reputation and stability that we currently offer when we look for new talents.

  2. It should be pointed out that Gibbs, Coquelin, Bellerin and AM-N have all been away on loan during their younger days.
Bellerin was poor at Watford and often didn’t make the bench.
I’ve no idea what AM-N is worth now but the sale of any one of the others would justify the cost of keeping all these players until the club can properly decide if they’ll make the step up to the 1st team.
Buying players 1st team players is now ridiculously expensive, so the youth set up is an invaluable system.

  3. Jeorge will usually put if they are injured won’t he and I very much doubt that all the players that haven’t made the squad are injured. I just feel when they’re getting to a certain age like zelalem and Crowley after all that potential they haven’t Improved at all whether that be due to attitude, injury or something else. We have so many of the same player as well. We need to try and sign defensive players but we seem to be trying to convert midfielders or attacking players into defensive players and maybe that’s the problem with the club as a whole from first team down to the youth teams. Thought Pleg was gonna be a future centre half and he’s gone off the boil. Same as Ignasi Miguel and he left. Bellerin is great going forward but suspect defensively, although he is still very young for a defender.
