Report: Arsenal set to complete signing of Cohen Bramall

Arsenal are set to announce the signing of Cohen Bramall from Hednesford Town this week, according to reports.

The 20-year-old recently spent two days on trial with the Gunners and has reportedly impressed sufficiently to earn a permanent deal.

It is anticipated that the left-back will initially go into Arsenal’s U23 squad and the move would certainly make sense given that there is a dearth of available youngsters at the club in that position.

Marc Bola is the regular left-back for the U23s, whilst Tolaji Bola can also play there but Bramall, who is renowned for his searing speed, would provide Arsenal with greater depth in that department.

Should the move go ahead Bramall, who has already trained with the Arsenal first-team squad, will aim to prove to Arsene Wenger that he can make the step up to the senior side, with the Gunners looking to strengthen at left-back.

Arsenal Transfer news: Wenger tells @beINSPORTS non-league LB Cohen Brammal “has signed for us. He’s an exceptional physical talent”
“I don’t think he’s ready, today, to play in Premier League” but draws similarities to a young “Ashley Cole”

  2. That is really the final nail in the coffin of Kieran Gibbs career at Arsenal.
A couple of years ago, Arsenal was preaching about the new wave of British players who would be more loyal to AFC. To say that they have been a disappointment is an understatement.
With this news of a new left back coming and Nacho Monreal firmly established as first left back, it is obvious that either this summer or the next Gibbs will be gone.
On the right fullback, Bellerin is going nowhere and Maitland-Niles being groomed as his understudy, Earlier than Gibbs, Jenkinson will be sold.
Ramsey is showing every game that he is unsuited to play for Arsenal. His current goal drought magnifies the fact he is a liability in centre midfield. No tactical awareness and no discipline.
The Ox is clearly on his last chance saloon. He is trying very hard, but clearly too hard. He remind of somebody who work hard, but not smart. Offensively, despite having decent technique and a great engine, He nearly never make the right choice.
Jack Wilshere is never going to be able to replace Özil, so one year after he signs his contract extension he will clear his locker.
Walcott will continue to flare to deceive until even Arsène realise that this year purple patch is as good as it is ever going to be.
