Arsenal have submitted their list of senior players for the Champions League group stages, with new signings Granit Xhaka, Shkodran Mustafi, Lucas Perez and Rob Holding making the cut.

Youngsters Jeff Reine-Adelaide and Krystian Bielik are included, as is Carl Jenkinson, but Per Mertesacker and Danny Welbeck, who are currently injured, have been left out. Matt Macey has also been omitted.

Hector Bellerin, Alex Iwobi and Chuba Akpom are on the B List.

  1. Really wenger did something positive to uplifts the club, we need both official and the player’s to unify theirs cooperation for positive result.

  2. Interesting to see Gibbs named in midfield. Does this mean Arsene plans to push him further up the pitch, or understudy for Sanchez?

  3. According to the Birmingham Mail, Tyrell Robinson is coming back to Arsenal after not being offered a contract by West Bromwich. I know that the precedent Serge Gnabry tends to prove that Tony Pulis and his team are lacking in winger judgement. However I hope that Arsenal takes him back only if he accepts to play left back.
Arsenal, West Ham and now West Bromwich have told him that as a winger he is not good enough. Maybe he should accept that assessment. At Arsenal, to be a left winger he has to be better than Sanchez, Iwobi, Perez, Wilshere and Adelaide. That is unlikely to happen. As a left back, he just needs to be better than Kieran Gibbs. Much more achievable.
