Mavididi strike not enough as Arsenal U19s are beaten by KZN Academy in Durban International Cup



Arsenal’s defence of the Durban International Cup in South Africa got off to a disappointing start as they were beaten 2-1 by KZN Academy in their opening group game. 
The young Gunners took the lead through Stephy Mavididi but KZN Academy responded with two goals to run out winners. 

Trialist Marcelo Allende featured as a late substitute. 

Keto, Osei-Tutu, Da Graca, Pileas, Mourgos; Sheaf, McGuane; Nelson, Malen, DaSilva; Mavididi. 

Subs: Dragomir, Tella, Smith-Rowe, Alllende.
