Arsenal midfielder Charlie Gilmour signs professional contract

Arsenal midfielder Charlie Gilmour has signed his first professional contract with the club.

Gilmour, who progressed through Arsenal’s Hale End academy system to sign scholarship terms last summer, has represented both England and Scotland at youth level.

A neat passer of the ball, Gilmour featured prominently for Arsenal U18s last season but is yet to make the step up to the U21 team. He is currently out injured.

Gilmour’s progression to professional terms leaves Nathan Tella, Kostas Pileas, Edward Nketiah and Joe Willock as the club’s remaining second-year scholars.

    1. Could be that he has signed one, but it was not announced on, there have been many same kind of situations, Da Silva, Mourgos just latest. is constantly so poorly taken care of. Just look out the teams section and choose academy. It’s so screwed. Poor, not what it should be.

  1. spot on mickey, .com have not even listed this seasons academy intake, they usually don’t do it till after the season starts, and all the squads have done their photo shoot.
