Arsenal have offered midfielder Savvas Mourgos his first professional contract.
The youngster has featured for Arsenal in the UEFA Youth League this season, while he has also made two substitute appearances at U21 level.
It is for the U18s, however, that Mourgos has made the most significant impact, with the 17-year-old helping to dictate play for Frans de Kat’s side with some neat passing.
Mourgos initially struggled upon joining Arsenal but has improved significantly in the ensuing period and should feature more prominently for the U21s next season.
Marc Bola and Ilias Chatzitheodoridis are now the only remaining second-year scholars at the club.
