Arsenal held their final training session this morning ahead of tomorrow’s Premier League game away to Stoke City, with the headline news being that Alexis Sánchez played a full part in proceedings after recovering from injury.
The winger could be included in the matchday squad for the first time since November, whilst goalkeeper David Ospina also trained after being ruled out of the last two fixtures with a groin injury.
A clutch of youngsters were selected to train with the squad, with Matt Macey, Alex Iwobi, Tafari Moore, Glen Kamara, Julio Pleguezuelo and Dan Crowley all called upon, whilst new signing Mohamed Elneny was also present.
Mesut Ozil was rested from the training session but should still feature tomorrow. Meanwhile, Mathieu Debuchy continued to train despite being linked with a move away from the club.
Arsenal’s injury list is starting to reduce, with Danny Welbeck, Jack Wilshere, Francis Coquelin and Santi Cazorla the only senior players currently sidelined.
Subs: Ospina, Gabriel, Gibbs, Arteta, Elneny, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Sánchez.
