Arsenal held their final training session this morning ahead of tomorrow’s FA Cup 3rd round tie at home to Sunderland, with five youngsters in attendance.

Alex Iwobi, Jeff Reine-Adelaide, Krystian Bielik, Chris Willock and schoolboy Reiss Nelson all participated in the session.

There is a possibility that some of the aforementioned youngsters could feature against Sunderland, with Iwobi and Reine-Adelaide the most likely to be involved.

Mikel Arteta is back available again after injury and could make the squad, but Tomas Rosicky, Alexis Sanchez, Jack Wilshere, Danny Welbeck, Francis Coquelin and Santi Cazorla are all still out.

Mathieu Debuchy continued to train with the squad despite being linked with a move away from the club.

  2. Debuchy at R/B for me…
He’s still our player, so why not use him…
I’d like to see Chambers start @ def/mid…

  3. Ospina

    Chambers Mertesacker Gabriel Gibbs

    Arteta
    Ox
    Jeff Ramsey Campbell

Cech Bellerin Monreal Bielik Ozil Willock Giroud

No Iwobi, he should be out on loan soon, wasn’t he going to Reading?

Think for the Ox he needs to play alongside a DM like Arteta or Flamini, who can knock a ball to him allowing him to run at the opposition. I feel he’s better suited there than on the wing.

  4. What’s with Kamara? I thought he would be part of Arsenal FA-cup team because he left Finnish National team just few days before friendly against Sweden.

  5. According to various reports tonight, including from the Telegraph, Bournemouth are on the verge of signing Wolves striker Benik Afobe in a deal worth £10 million, a fee which would smash the Cherries transfer record.

  6. It’s done, good luck to Benik in Premier league.
BREAKING: Eddie Howe confirms in post match press that a deal to sign Benik Afobe has been agreed.
