Chuba Akpom scored his first league goal since October as Hull City beat Bolton Wanderers 1-0. The striker found the net from close range, whilst Isaac Hayden was an un-used substitute. Wellington didn’t feature for Bolton because of injury.

Wojciech Szczesny played the whole game and kept a clean sheet as Roma drew 0-0 with Napoli.

Gedion Zelalem played 61 minutes and made some impressive passes as Rangers drew 2-2 with Greenock Morton.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles started and played 78 minutes as Ipswich Town beat MK Dons 1-0.

Stefan O’Connor played the whole game and was booked as York City were beaten 2-1 by Bristol Rovers.

Serge Gnabry was, at long last, included in the matchday squad for West Bromwich Albion, but the winger was an un-used substitute for the 2-2 draw with Liverpool.

Carl Jenkinson was an un-used substitute as West Ham United drew 0-0 with Stoke City. The right-back appears to have lost his place in the starting line-up for Slaven Bilic’s side of late.

Emiliano Martinez missed Wolverhampton Wanderers’ 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest because of injury. The goalkeeper isn’t expected to return until next month.

Jon Toral was absent through injury as Birmingham City drew 0-0 with Middlesbrough.

Yaya Sanogo wasn’t in the squad as Ajax lost 1-0 to Utrecht.
