Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger called upon 13 youngsters for today’s first-team training session at London Colney ahead of tomorrow’s game against Sheffield Wednesday.

  1. better to invite these hungry youngsters to the senior squad to build confidence and to get the best scorer for the club,

  2. Thanks for the update Jeorge keep up the top class work!! Im curious as to why you have Walcott in your presumptive lineup yet you did not include him amongst the players who trained.

  3. Jeorge, regarding Serge Gnabrys loan to West Brom, was it for the entire season or was it until January?

I honestly think, that if it was until January, that we should bring him back to Arsenal…

      1. Thanks Jeorge, but what a shame.
He could have played for us at Hillsborough this evening, rather than stagnating at the Hawthorns…

  4. Interesting Lineup. I’m thinking The Ox starts in the No.10 role behind Walcott, as a) he needs the games and confidence, and b) we need some creativity in the midfield 3. Very, very curious to see what happens, and I’d love it if Iwobi and Campbell did well. We’ll need them over the next 2 months if anything else happens in the squad. And some of the December holiday fixtures could call for one or both of them.

  5. Selected names missing as usual when it comes to delivering information. It feels like you jeorge again promoting your chosen ones.Your blogs are supposed to provide accurate information.

    1. what do you mean by that? I listed all the youngsters who I know trained with the first-team today. The team line-up is just a prediction.

      1. Don’t rise to it jeorge, how more accurate can you be than listing the players that you can see? Then from that gauging an opinion of who might play.

The one player I think that needs minutes is giroud. I know he played Saturday, but he has had too few minutes of late. Chamberlain and Gabriel are in not too different situations either.

Still if they weren’t in training you would expect they won’t be involved

    2. Who are the names missing?
And surely this blog is about Jeorge Birds opinion as much as anything. He is not paid by the club, is he?

  6. Thank you for this. I follow the youth players and for all these years, your blog has given me more insight into them.

To the haters above, get a life.
