Arsenal have submitted their list of eligible players for the UEFA Youth League group stages, with the inclusion of Dan Crowley the most surprising selection.

The midfielder is currently on loan at Barnsley until January, but has still been registered to play in Europe’s premier youth tournament.

Meanwhile, Donyell Malen and Vlad Dragomir have both been included, suggesting that their FIFA registration problems will soon be solved, although the latter is currently injured.

Several more experienced players have been included, such as Ryan Huddart, Tafari Moore, Stefan O’Connor, Julio Pleguezuelo and Alex Iwobi. Summer arrivals Jeff Reine-Adelaide and Ismael Bennacer have made the cut alongside schoolboys Jordan Perrin, Rob Howard, Josh Benson and Emile Smith-Rowe.

Krystian Bielik is in the squad, but there is no place for Harry Donovan, who hasn’t featured for the U18s recently, or Joe Willock, who is yet to officially sign scholarship terms with the club.

Arsenal UEFA Youth League squad: Huddart, Keto, Perrin, Da Graca, Johnson, Moore, O’Connor, Pleguezuelo, M. Bola, T. Bola, Chatzitheodoridis, Osei-Tutu, Pileas, Howard, Bennacer, Bielik, Crowley, Reine-Adelaide, Robinson, Sheaf, Agyei-Tabi, Dasilva, Dragomir, Eyoma, Gilmour, Mourgos, Tella, Benson, Smith-Rowe, Hinds, Iwobi, Mavididi, C. 1. This looks like a promising squad. Well balanced across the field and a good spread of experience. Hopefully, the likes of Huddart, Reine-Adelaide and Julio Pleguezuelo will lift the team at the crucial moments.

Good luck guys and do the Arsenal proud!

    1. I like Sheaf a lot. if I were AW I will quickly integrate him into the first team. He is the kind of player our first team is lacking in midfield at the moment. On the other hand,I think that we lack good defenders with potential to make the first team soon.
