  1. I thought that Sanogo missed the game because he was not eligible for the FA Cup. He had been involved with Arsenal in previous rounds.
If he is injured again and it is a muscle injury, I would question Arsenal conditioning. Sanogo, Ramsey, Rosicky, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Ozil, seem to spend more time in the treatment room than on the pitch.

Arsenal’s management of players’ health can well be questioned…but Sanogo would not be any evidence. The had broken both legs as a teen, had a lot of injuries and was considering packing it in before giving one last shot and Arsenal signed him after that. Plus he is still growing, must be close to 6’4″ or 6’5″ by now – he is taller than Giroud and not done filling out. Arsenal actually had him on a personal conditioning regime for almost half a season before letting him play.

If your remember, the lines of Steven Gerrard had a lot of injuries around the same stage while still filling in his body. I wouldnt worry about Sanogo.

So he aint your example if you want to bash Wenger on this matter. And not that Wenger is innocent in this matter – he never learns and always overuses veteran players. But rarely the youths.
