  1. Saw a mention earlier of another Arsenal player called up to the Eng u16 game. That’d make 5 by my reckoning and seems very encouraging. Never seen us represented like that in any age group for Eng before.

    In less optimistic news, any idea how long Bellerin’s contract is? Always seems the danger with lads from there that should it go superbly over here, Barca are likely to come back for the player. That performance against Benfica must have caught their eye. To boot, he’s only broken a sprinting record of Walcott’s.

    Talent, athleticism, a great attitude, Barca apparently switching to wing backs, one of their trainers (his twitters about 50% Bellerin) coming over to visit the family and watch a match…I bloody hope there are 3-5 years on the contract!
