The whereabouts of Arsenal midfielder Samuel Galindo have finally been discovered after it was revealed that the 21 year old is currently on trial with Major League Soccer side Colorado Rapids.
Galindo, who joined Arsenal from Real America in 2010 but has failed to earn a work permit enabling him to play competitively in England, has not played any football since returning to his native Bolivia for a seven game loan spell with Jorge Wilstermann last season.
It has been evident for some time that Galindo, who has only ever featured for Arsenal in U21 friendlies, has very little chance of making the grade at Emirates Stadium and he is expected to depart before his contract expires at the end of next season.
A tall central-midfielder with a good passing range, Galindo has struggled to make the most of his loan spells during his time at Arsenal, with stints with Salamanca, Gimnastic de Tarragona and Lugo all failing to yield much success.
Capped twice by his country at senior level, Galindo will be hopeful of earning a contract with Colorado Rapids, who took former Arsenal goalkeeper James Shea on trial last season.
