Swedish attacker Jamaal Raage appears set to leave Arsenal halfway through the first year of his scholarship.
The youngster, whose move from IF Brommapojkarna was confirmed in June, has featured eight times for the U18s, scoring against Middlesbrough, Bolton Wanderers and Tottenham Hotspur, whilst he also made the bench in the UEFA Youth League and the U21 Premier League.
However, the 16 year old, who has mainly been deployed as a winger since his arrival, looks set for a swift return to his homeland and tweeted his goodbyes this afternoon.
His reasons for departing are unclear at present, but the situation is certainly a strange one as Raage has been largely impressive during his appearances so far this season. He was an un-used substitute as the U18s lost 1-0 to Norwich City earlier today.
