Austin Lipman enjoyed a senior debut to remember as the striker scored one goal and set up another during Boreham Wood’s 6-0 trouncing of Chelmsford City. Lipman, who has joined the Skrill South side on a temporary basis until January, was a prominent figure during his 64 minutes on the field, with the striker first setting up David Moli to find the net before coming close to scoring himself just before half-time. The England U17 international eventually got his goal in the 52nd minute when he fired home emphatically.

Francis Coquelin emerged off the bench as a 73rd minute substitute for Freiburg and provided an assist as his temporary side dispatched of Nuremberg with a 3-0 victory. Johan Djourou, meanwhile, is likely to be out for several weeks through injury and wasn’t involved for Hamburg yesterday.

Joel Campbell started Olympiacos’ 1-0 victory over Panathinaikos, but the Costa Rican was replaced after 64 minutes.

Chuks Aneke hit several shots wide of the target during Crewe Alexandra’s goalless draw with Bradford City, with the midfielder playing the full game.

Josh Vickers was powerless to prevent Canvey Island from exiting the FA Trophy at the hands of East Thurrock United.

Damian Martinez was again an un-used substitute as Sheffield Wednesday beat Reading 5-2, whilst Ignasi Miquel remained on the bench throughout Leicester City’s 3-0 win over Watford.

Wellington is set to be amongst the substitutes again when Murcia face Sabadell this evening.

  1. jb what do u think is going to happen with coquelin? IMO he is ahead of frimpong and diaby I would like to see him come back but do u think he is up for that and challenge the other 4 holding midfielders or do u think he will bail out?

  2. Jeorge, what is the situation with Galindo?
Is he still out on loan or is he back at the club?
And what, in your opinion, are the chances if him getting a work permit?
