      1. His name’s Kyle, yes. He did have some problems with injuries, but there are so many schoolboys that get let go at that age as the competition is so tough.

  1. How about Harley Willard, James Blanchfield, Corey Addai, Chiori Johnson, Aaron Jordan & Tyler Reid. Are they in Arsenal books anymore? Willard, Blanchfield and Johnson were at Ferroli-cup squad, i thought at least Willard was some kind of prospect?

  2. Isn’t Broccoli (right back) a schoolboy too? He was one of the best players at the lions city cup in Singapore last month

  3. Wish these youngguns the best. Following these young players has shown me that it’s a tough way up with most falling off. Even some highly rated kids don’t make it!

  4. Assuming the following go on loan, hopefully to Championship teams: Afobe, Aneke, Eisfeld, Galindo, Martinez, Wellington, Yennaris and (Campbell and Ryo), the best line up for under 21s could look like this:

    Iliev
    Bellerin, Miquel, Boateng, B O-O
    Toral, Ollson, Hayden
    Sanogo, Akpom, Gnabry
Subs: Vickers, Fagan, Siemann, Jebb, Jeffrey, Ansah

Ignoring the subs for the moment and including the loanees – there is a good chance some of the players in that group who will secure permanent first team places from 2014/15 onwards as spaces open up in the squad.

    1. I think Maitland-niles might have a big chance to take U21 place. Looks easy when he plays for U18 and thats when you know a player is above the level.

Hopefully our U18 will look stronger this season than previous. I wish every player to make it but I hope more from hale end will go all the way.

  5. Off topic but we should sign halilovic, if spurs sign him that would be very disappointing. Crowley looks like a great talent as well
