Zak Ansah hits brace as Arsenal U16s see off Southampton

Zak Ansah was the star of the show as Arsenal under-16s beat Southampton under-16s 4-2 last Saturday.

The sprightly attacker, who does not turn 15 until May, grabbed a brace to add to strikes from England under-16 internationals Chuks Aneke and Josh Rees.

The result continued the 100% record for Steve Gatting’s side in 2009 after the Gunners comfortably disposed of Ipswich the previous weekend with a 3-0 victory. The first was scored by left-winger Jernade Meade with under-14 starlets Nigel Neita and Steven Smith also getting on the scoresheet.

  1. dont worry about him being a Manure supporter…in my time I have known many AFC stars who were rabid supporters of other teams but played with loyalty for years with us. Dixon & Bould were two of the greatest along with Seaman they were either Man City or Leeds but when your a gunner the others do not matter.
