56. Nigel Neita

Reserve apps: 3

Under-18 apps: 53 (4 goals)

A powerful and versatile attacker, Nigel broke into the Reserve side last season and was rewarded with a surprise call-up to the senior Jamaican national side.

Having scored for the under-18s whilst still a schoolboy, Nigel, who can operate as a central striker or on either flank, signed his first professional contract prior to last campaign and was heavily involved throughout, making 23 appearances for the under-18s, which prompted his national call-up, although he did not feature for his country.

He also became increasingly involved in the Reserve set-up, making three substitute appearances at that level towards the end of the campaign, and he will be hoping to feature more regularly for the second string this time around.

Nigel will, however, be seeking to develop a more clinical edge in front of goal having not found the net for the club at any level since December 2010.

Born: December 23, 1993

Signed scholarship: Summer 2010

Signed professional: August 2011

This Neita kid is great, he is like the next John Barnes for England. I hope he remain focus, because he will reach very far.
