56. Jon Toral

A skilful Spanish U17 midfielder plucked from Barcelona’s La Masia academy in 2011, Jon made a strong initial impression in North London, but missed the second half of last season due to injury.

Usually operating in a central midfield role, from where he can find his team-mates with ease, Jon has also featured on the left flank on occasion. He began the campaign in superb form for the U18s, scoring five goals in four games, before also finding the net in the NextGen Series victory over Athletic Bilbao in December.

He also featured intermittently for the U21s before the Christmas break, but was forced to watch the second half of the season unfold from the sidelines. He will be hoping to return to full fitness during pre-season ahead of a campaign in which he will seek to both establish himself as a regular for the U21s and make the squad for the Capital One Cup.
