Technically-able midfielder Jon impressed during his first season at the club, even though injury threatened to hinder his progress at times.
A superb passer of the ball, Jon, who signed from Barcelona, prefers to operate in a central-midfield role and shone for the under-18s early in the season, finding the net against Charlton, Norwich and Portsmouth. He then stepped up into the Reserves, impressing on his debut against Aston Villa, but only made one further appearance at that level before injury curtailed his campaign.
He is likely to be heavily involved in proceedings this season as he is still eligible for the under-18s, whilst he will also be looking to be involved in the Reserves and the NextGen Series.
