Now regarded as one of the club’s brightest prospects, Chuba enjoyed an outstanding 2012/13 campaign during which he established himself as the first choice striker for the U21s during his first season as a scholar.
The youngster’s good form also saw him make the first-team bench for the Champions League trip to Olympiacos, whilst he also received international recognition, being propelled into the U19 set-up for England.
The Hale End product, who is extremely skilful, made his debut for the U18s as a schoolboy and was expected to continue at that level last season, but, instead, was entrusted as a regular for the U21s, off the back of some impressive showings in pre-season.
He scored with regularity throughout the campaign, reaching double figures for the second-string, which included six goals in four games between February and March.
The striker may be in line to make his first-team debut this season, and, in the mean-time, is expected to continue to feature for the U21s.
