Hard-working forward Austin continued to develop apace last season, flourishing in front of goal for both club and country.
A diligent attacker who tends to operate on the left flank, Austin broke into the Arsenal under-18 side during the 2010/11 season, making two appearances at that level before adding to that tally with a substitute outing against Crystal Palace last campaign. He impressed on that occasion with some dangerous crosses, but he played the majority of his football at under-16 level, where he scored and assisted with some regularity.
Austin has also impressed on the international scene, having been capped by England at both under-16 and under-17 levels, and will be hoping to become a prominent figure for Arsenal at under-18 level during his first season as a scholar.
