Anthony Jeffrey

A rapid winger who is a product of the club’s Hale End Academy, Anthony finally earned a deserved professional contract at Arsenal following a strong end to the season, which included a loan spell at League One Stevenage.

Despite featuring just once during his time at the Lamex Stadium, Anthony returned to Arsenal an improved player and was in sensational form for the U18s during the final weeks of the campaign, scoring against Aston Villa and Newcastle United.

He was also in excellent form in the FA Youth Cup, finding the net against Newcastle and Fulham, but surprisingly was afforded just a solitary outing for the U21s, as a substitute against Blackburn Rovers.

Now, having earned his professional contract, Anthony will be hopeful of making a sustained impact at second-string level this season.
