82. Ainsley Maitland-Niles

A quick, skilful and direct winger, Ainsley earned a scholarship deal at Arsenal following some impressive performances for the club at schoolboy level.

Surprisingly overlooked by England U16s, Ainsley broke into the Arsenal U18 side earlier this season, scoring on his debut at that level against West Bromwich Albion before making a further appearance as a substitute in the defeat to Reading.

He will seek to make further appearances for Steve Gatting’s side this season before commencing full-time at London Colney next season.

I’ve heard that Maitland-Niles is very promising and highly rated among the academy coaches. Could you tell me more about him as a player?

Oh, and btw, his name is f***ing awesome!
