What is likely to happen with Toral initially?

The indication would be that he would initially play for the under-18s, but there have been suggestions that he could be fast-tracked into the Reserves.

Hi Jeorge do you have any info on the forward?

    • Jeorge Bird May 26, 2011 at 10:58 am Reply

He can play as a right-winger or as a central striker and impressed after making the step up to Barcelona’s U18 side this season

Interesting signings as Barca players at any level will have already achieved a quality threshold, and in the worst case scenario will be good investments. However we already have a great many diminutive players, who find the EPL rather too physical. Granted they are still only 16, but do you think they will meet the physical demands of EPL?

What about Xavi Quintilla, any update on him?

Has Bellerin been preferred to Robert Mirosavic? or are we still interested in him as well?

    Finally, what Mbabu?

wow.. so many new players already for the youth team and so many is coming up. On the other hand some of last year scholars are not the quality we expect them to be.

I know some people complain about too many signings for the youth teams but then they go on complaining about our local lads not being good enough and we need new ones a few months later.

He is more of a wing back and i am beginning to think Wenger is looking to play that way next season, with the possibility of even playing 3 CB’s. It could be why Sagna and Clichy could move on this season and that Eboue and Gibbs could be our wing backs. Jenkinson, Eastmond and Coquelin could also make useful right wing backs, even Lansbury. Whilst Traore and Botelho could make useful left wing backs. It would certainly be an option when you need to chase the match. It would also allow us to play with 2 up front 352 or even 343 with 2 wing backs and 2 wingers. You might see Wenger try and capture Xavi Quintilla who is another of the Barca youths and plays left wing back, there is also the young lad at Southampton Luke Shaw. Then there is the other youngsters at the club that would suit the winger/wing back role Watt, Meade, Bhimoutine, Wynter, Monakana. There are certainly more wingers and wing backs available at reasonable prices in comparison to centre halves and DM’s. Just an opinion so dont shout me down.
