Pedro Botelho- Murcia 2 Salamanca 1

Arsenal’s on loan wing-back Pedro Botelho may have played his last game for Salamanca after he was left out of this weekend’s trip to take on Murcia after yet another show of dissent towards his manager.

The Brazilian’s attitude has been a cause of concern all campaign and his public falling out with coach David Amaral led to Botelho being banned from training earlier this year.

Salamanca conclude their Liga Adelante season next weekend at home to Hércules and it is almost certain that Pedro won’t be returning for a third spell with Los Charros in the 2009/10 season.

He will begin pre-season training with the Gunners on July 6th, although it is questionable whether he will be involved in any of the pre-season friendlies, with newly-promoted La Liga side Xerez reportedly interested in taking him on a season-long loan deal.

Håvard Nordtveit- Norway U21 2 Slovakia U21 2

Arsenal’s other loanee, Håvard Nordtveit, is currently away with Norway U21s and played the full 90 minutes of their 2-2 draw with Slovakia U21s on Wednesday evening.

The Lillestrøm loanee was a composed figure at centre-back, but it was Slovakia who took the lead through Jacub Sylvester in the first period. Norway equalised after the break through their talismanic forward Jo Inge Berget, but soon fell behind again after a Martin Juhar strike. However, Norway levelled again late on through super sub Petter Orry Larsen.
