Gael Clichy’s return from suspension for the Premier League encounter with Everton tomorrow night is likely to benefit Arsenal in more ways than one.

Not only will the Gunners fans see the return of their first-choice left-back but also Gael’s return means that one player has to drop out of the squad which faced Cardiff City and with several options in midfield, the player dropping out is set to be Jack Wilshere, which means he will be available for selection in the FA Youth Cup against Sunderland on Friday night, providing there are no injuries or suspensions to Arsenal players at Goodison Park tomorrow night.

In other news, Brazilian striker Wellington who spent 14 days on trial at London Colney is undecided on his future. Real Madrid and Manchester United have both reportedly made bids for the wonderkid and the player himself said ‘I have had many good offers. My preference is to play in Europe-I haven’t decided who for yet’.

More tomorrow.
