Sunderland test could prove to be toughest yet in FA Youth Cup

Arsenal’s much-vaunted under-18s will have to go to the Stadium of Light and win if they are to progress past the Fifth Round of this season’s FA Youth Cup.
After disposing of Aston Villa and Wolves, the Gunners now face a trip to take on Sunderland, who needed extra time to overcome Preston on Tuesday. The Black Cats are currently second in Premier Academy League Group D and should provide a stern test for Steve Bould’s side.
The game has been scheduled for Friday January 30th, a fortnight tomorrow, which means that Arsenal’s League game at home to Portsmouth, scheduled for the next day, is likely to be postponed.
