Pedro Botelho- Real Sociedad 0 Salamanca 0

Pedro started the game as Salamanca took on Real Sociedad and the Brazilian was looking to build on him impressive performance last time out. Pedro’s attacking nature has caused many opposition players to get booked for attempting to hack him down but today he got a taste of his own medicine when he was sent off on the stroke of half-time for a mis-timed challenge.

Kerrea Gilbert- Leicester 4 Peterborough 0

Kerrea retained his place in the starting line-up as Leicester took on Peterborough at the Walkers Stadium. The Foxes took the lead after six minutes when visiting defender Craig Morgan put the ball into his own net. Matty Fryatt then continued his great scoring run by making it 2-0 before the interval. Andy King added a third on 70 minutes and then Stteve Howard grabbed a fourth to keep Leicester top of League One.

Nacer Barazite- Derby 1 Watford 0

After not being involved in the previous two games, Nacer found himself on the bench as Derby welcomed Watford to Pride Park. The two sides were well matched in the first half- both in terms of possession and goals and went into the break at 0-0.

Nacer replaced Gary Teale on 56 minutes hoping to make an impact on the game. However, it was fellow substitute Rob Hulse who would make his mark, scoring a header seven minutes from time with what turned out to be the winner of a closely-fought contest.

Armand Traore- Bolton 2 Portsmouth 1

After impressing against Wolfsburg in the UEFA Cup, Armand found himself on the bench for Portsmouth’s trip to the Reebok. Pompey found themselves behind less than two minutes in when Matthew Taylor found the back of the net and then Ricardo Gardner doubled the hosts’ advantage with a rare goal soon after to heap the pressure on Tony Adams. Peter Crouch pulled one back on 20 minutes to set the game up for an exciting climax.

Diarra and Nugent were brought on in the second half but Armand remained on the bench as Pompey lost 2-1.

Abu Ogogo- Darlington 2 Barnet 2

Abu returned from suspension and was named on the bench for Barnet’s trip to face Darlington. Things got off to a bad start for Paul Fairclough’s side when former Bees striker Liam Hatch put the hosts 1-0 up after just eight minutes. The in-form John O’Flynn equalised for Barnet on 19 minutes. However, Hatch doubled his tally to restore the lead six minutes later. Ismail Yakubu then drew the Bees level for a second time to make it 2-2 with 14 minutes remaining.

Abu remained on the bench as the match ended 2-2.

James Dunne played 76 minutes as Nottingham Forest Reserves beat their Sheffield Wednesday counterparts 2-0 on Tuesday afternoon to stretch their unbeaten run to eight games. With the two sides deadlocked at 0-0, James came close with a ferocious effort that was well saved. Ryan Whitehurst and Aaron Mitchell grabbed the goals for the hosts at the City Ground.

Vincent van den Berg missed out through injury as FC Zwolle beat Dordrecht 2-1 on Friday night. Boerrigter opened the scoring for Zwolle before Ramos equalised for the visitors. Van der Haar then scored the winner 13 minutes from time.

Philippe Senderos is unlikely to feature for AC Milan against Udinese tomorrow after going off early in the UEFA Cup on Tuesday due to injury.
