Match preview- Arsenal Res. v Portsmouth Res.

Eduardo will start tonight as Arsenal Reserves take on Portsmouth Reserves at Underhill. This will be the Croatian striker’s first competitive action for ten months following a lengthy lay-off.

Coach Neil Banfield has also included three other first-teamers in the starting XI in Aaron Ramsey, Lukasz Fabianski and Jack Wilshere whilst captain Gavin Hoyte will look to celebrate signing his new long-term contract with a good performance.

The Reserves haven’t been in competitive action for over a month but played friendlies against Norwich and Crystal Palace whilst many players starting tonight have also been involved in the first team in the past few weeks.
