Arsenal U18s v Southampton U18s- Match preview

Steve Bould’s Arsenal under-18s side will be looking to extend their lead at the top of Premier Academy League Group A when they welcome Southampton to London Colney tomorrow morning.

The Gunners are now unbeaten in three matches after twice coming from behind to beat Norwich 3-2 last week. The result means that Arsenal are currently five points clear of their nearest challengers Crystal Palace and Portsmouth, although the latter do have a game in hand.

In terms of team news, Conor Henderson and Sanchez Watt remain out, whilst Luke Freeman, Emmanuel Frimpong and Oguzhan Ozyakup are all on international duty. Craig Eastmond picked up a slight knock ahead of the Reserves game in mid-week but is expected to recover in time to face the Saints.

Predicted team:

–Rasmussen-Eastmond——-Thomas–Sunu

————Murphy———Deacon——

subs: Byles, Evina, Blackwood, Afobe.

Tomorrow’s game kicks off at 10.45AM and a match report will be available later in the day.
