MATCH REPORT- FULHAM U18S 1 ARSENAL U18S 1

He scored on his debut for Arsenal under-16s against West Ham aged just 13 years and five days and today Benik Afobe found the net on his debut for the under-18s against Fulham.

Options were running low for Steve Bould and a series of injuries and international call-ups meant that Kyle Bartley was re-called at centre-back, with Emmanuel Frimpong also returning to the side, whilst Afobe was named among the substitutes and would enter the fray after an injury to Luke Freeman.

Fulham took the lead, but Afobe levelled proceedings with a header. He could have won the game for the Gunners late on but saw his effort cleared off the line.

Arsenal remain unbeaten in three matches and will be looking for a better result when they welcome Norwich to London Colney next weekend.
