Fulham U18s v Arsenal U18s- Match Preview

We may only be a quarter of the way through the Premier Academy League season, but Arsenal are already leading the way in Group A. Two victories from their last two games have left Steve Bould’s side top of the pile with sixteen points and they will be looking to add to that tally when they take on Fulham at Motspur Park tomorrow morning.

Last time they met, the Gunners dismissed the Cottagers 3-0 thanks to a Nacer Barazite hat-trick. Tomorrow’s encounter could prove a tougher task as Fulham are currently unbeaten. However, tomorrow’s hosts have only won two games so far and have ten points from six matches.

In team news, Conor Henderson (cruciate knee ligament) and Sanchez Watt (leg) are expected to be out for most of the season. Rhys Murphy and Jay Emmanuel-Thomas are still on international duty, so the in-form Roarie Deacon should start again up front with Luke Ayling captaining the side. Thomas Cruise could return at left-back whilst Emmanuel Frimpong could also come back into the fold.
