Middlesbrough boss Gareth Southgate has revealed that Justin Hoyte’s ex-Arsenal team-mate Jeremie Aliadiere could be a key factor in convincing the former England u-21 international to move to Teeside. Hoyte is currently in Middlesbrough for talks after Arsenal accepted Boro’s bid for him and Southgate has revealed that he will ask the Frenchman to talk to Justin

They both came through the ranks at Arsenal around about the same time and so know eachother well and it looks like this deal could go through soon.
Meanwhile, it looks like Racing Santander could beat us to the capture of Anthony Annan. Not a major dissapointment it seems especially as there are so many club’s chasing him. He trained with Blackburn, although regular first-team action in Spain could lure him.
Finally, Danny Haynes has also been linked and I think he would be a good addition to the club if we signed him. I saw him play for Ipswich against West Brom in a friendly last month and he was the stand out player that day and his electrifying runs were the most enjoyable parts of the match by far and he would fit in well to Arsenal’s style of play.
