Loan watch: Pedro Botelho on target as Salamanca cruise to victory

Arsenal loanee Pedro Botelho was on the scoresheet as Salamanca thrashed Villamayor 14-2 in a friendly on Monday. The left-back, who spent the second half of last season with the Liga BBVA club will continue to play his football out on loan in Spain this season. Salamanca raced ahead, notching five goals before the half-hour mark. Pedro then added the sixth on 32 minutes with a sweetly struck shot. It was 7-0 soon after and although the hosts pulled one back shortly after the interval it was nothing but a mere consolation as Salamanca cruised to a 14-2 win.
