Danish winger Jonas Rasmussen has signed a long-term professional contract with Arsenal. Jonas, who turned 17 last Friday, was initially set to be a second-year scholar but the club were keen to tie him a down to a pro deal as soon as possible. He struggled to adapt to life in England last season but should be more accustomed this time around and will look to make his reserves debut this season.

So many highly rated youngsters, so few places. He didn’t even manage to make the squad to Huddersfield and there’s still Merida and Pedro out on loan. He’s a right winger so I guess he’ll have Walcott, Eboue, and Wilshire in front of him. Hope at least 5-6 of the current batch can make it to the first team.
