Chase hots up for Cardiff’s Ramsey

Cardiff’s Aaron Ramsey could feature in tomorrow’s FA Cup Final with Portsmouth at Wembley tomorrow, but his manager Dave Jones has today revealed that it could be the Welsh starlet’s last game for the club, before a move to a bigger team entails.

Arsenal are interested in Ramsey, although they face stiff competition from the likes of Manchester United and Liverpool for the 17 year old

We have been very honest since we’ve been at the club and if it is the right deal for the club and the player then we will do it.

Manchester United look like favourites to sign him, but he may opt to join the Gunners for a greater chance of first-team action.

The midfielder has already played at Emirates Stadium, when he played in the FA Youth Cup Quarter-final defeat to Arsenal, when Jay Simpson scored a hat-trick.

In other news, Gilles Sunu could be in action for France tonight as they take on the holders Spain in the final of the 2008 UEFA u-17 European Championships. The game kicks off at 5.30pm UK time and is live on Eurosport. Check back after the game for a full report.

Is Aaron Ramsey even good because we should be focusing on older players to improve the 1st team not youngsters as usual

he will go to man yoo i think - dave jones is an old-school manager like ferguson, they stick together. plus do we need another promising young midfielder, given the existing depth of young talent in this area

What I like about this lad is that even though he is young, it isnt his pace that is attracting the attention, rather his astute passing. This bodes well for the future as pace players can be found out

Is that kid better than Gareth Bale? I am still sad that Spuds got Bale, but he has been injured most of the time so maybe it was good that we didn’t get him.

can’t wait to see the fa finals because I have never seen Ramsey play.

Can’t say he is better than Bale as we haven’t seen a great deal of Ramsey but he, Bale and Gunter are certainly part of a great future for Wales. 3 huge talents
