Midfielder Conor is a product of the Hale End Academy and will be looking to impress in his first season as a full time scholar next campaign. Liam Brady regards Conor very highly and it’s easy to see why. He likes to dominate games in the centre of midfield and can also push forward to score stunning goals, in the style of Frank Lampard. He has skippered the u-16s on many occasions and has earnt the respect of his team mates. He has pushed onto the u-18s this season and made a handful of appearances, playing in his preferred position of central midfield as well as out on the wing. A tough tackling, no-nonsense player, Conor is always up for a challenge and doesn’t let anything get in his way. He has represented both England and Ireland at Youth level but has now reportedly decided to play for England. He has been watched by scouts from several London clubs, including Chelsea and West Ham. However, Arsenal have fended off speculation regarding his future by reportedly slapping a £1 million price tag on him, and tying him down to a scholarship deal.

hi jeorge, just wondering what you and your readers think about about the bias in the national media ? bbc radio 5live’s 606(13/9/08) presented by Moneychester United devotee Alan Green, featuring calls from gooners slagging off our own players, Toure and Gallas ! no mention of how well we played or the landmark debut of Jack Wilshire ! so much for balance ! can you imagine the furore if Jack played for the club from Salford ? the latest of the great god sir alex babes ?! and nobody in the media wanted Theo in the england team, in the place of their former darling ! again, how different it would have been if Theo played for muplc ? and what has this Alan Green character got to do with england ? he isn’t english ! he’s ulster born and bred ! and he, Tyldesly and the rest have never forgiven us for ’98 ! isn’t it true that everyone who’s passionately into football, supports one team or another – there aren’t any neutrals in football, surely ? so these commentators, journalists and pundits who claim to be neutrals, are simply devious liars ! if 750,000,000 people in the world support Moneychester Utd., then the maths suggests that…well, work it out for yourselves ! 49 league games unbeaten ? it was never going to be 50 now, was it ?…2 match changing decisions going against us at the Theatre of Prawns that day ! and 3 match changing decisions going against us at St. Andrews last season ? when every thing in the media, particularly tv, is so contrived…well, it makes you wonder !
