Carlos Vela- Osasuna 3 Atletico Madrid 1

Carlos rediscovered his goalscoring touch as he found the net for Osasuna. His side took the lead with only two minutes gone thanks to an Enrique Clemente Sola strike, before Carlos doubled the advantage three minutes later. Atletico pulled one back after 26 minutes through Man.Utd reject Diego Forlan, with Jose Reyes also in action for Madrid. A goal from Hector Fonte on 75 minutes sealed the win. Carlos was withdrawn with just four minutes remaining, but by then the result was already beyond doubt.

Pedro- Salamanca 1 Teneriffe 0

Pedro started the game as Salamanca won thanks to a Quique Martin penalty on 27 minutes.

Vincent van den Berg- Go Ahead Eagles 1 FC Den Bosch 3

Hello Jeorge, love the site and thought I would drop you a line to let you know you’re doing a great job, and the info on loanees is very much appreciated. Being in Canada, I don’t have as many opportunities to follow their progress so this site is perfect for a Gooner like myself, desperate for any and all information on our players present and future.

Happy to see Vela bulge the old onion bag today, and I can’t wait to see him in an Arsenal shirt next season.

[...] Here’s a round-up of our loanees on Arsenal Youth. And, here’s a match report from Young Guns. [...]
