Mark Randall- Bohemians 0 Burnley 0

With no competitive action to look forward to over the weekend, Burnley travelled to face Irish side Bohemians in a friendly. Former Gunner John Spicer also in action for Burnley as they were held 0-0 by Bohemians. Overall, it was a fiercely contested game but both sides cancelled eachother out in the end. Match report

U-18s prepare to take on Palace

Posted by Jeorge Bird on February 15, 2008

Arsenal u-18s travel to face Crystal Palace tomorrow and they are firmly back in the race for the title. However, with two reserve games coming up in the next couple of weeks against Reading and Chelsea, then Steve Bould may choose to mix and match his side for this one. Last week, Nacer Barazite hit a hat-trick and Luke Freeman scored a brace as Arsenal dispatched of Southampton 5-2. It was the Gunners first win of 2008 and they will be looking to build on that win with another victory over Palace tomorrow. On the injury front, the game will come too early for Rhys Murphy (hernia), Henri Lansbury (glandular fever) and Jack Wilshere (ankle). However, on the positive side Rui Fonte could be back in contention following a broken nose and Sanchez Watt suffered concussion last week against Southampton but he should be okay. He may have to settle for a place on the bench though, with Freeman currently in goalscoring mood. Gilles Sunu could also return as well, despite being short of fitness.

In other news, Carlos Vela says it would be a dream to play for Arsenal.

Kieran Gibbs says Norwich is the right club for him. He didn’t really have much of an opportunity on his debut the other night, but hopefully his chance will come.

And that’s that. More tomorrow.
