Despite having the same name as a famous actor, Thomas is out to become a household name in his own right. He made his debut for the u-18s last season and is now an integral part of Steve Bould’s side. A versatile player, Thomas can play centre back, left back, central midfield and also featured in goal against Crystal Palace after Wojciech Szczesny suffered a dislocated finger in the warm up. He has worked his way up through the ranks at the Hale End Academy and was rewarded with a scholarship in the summer. His hard-working, tenacious style of play has won him many plaudits and have seen him make his debut for the reserves this season against West Ham at Upton Park. Tommy also came on in the last few minutes of the FA Youth Cup defeat at Liverpool and became the first Arsenal player to play at the new Wembley when he played there for England u-16s against Spain last March.
