Beyond the Academy

Wondering about who could make it into the Arsenal Academy in the next couple of years? Look no further, then. Here are three players who could feature for the u-18s next season despite still being schoolboys.
Nico Yennaris

An Englishman of Greek descent, Nico may be unknown to many Arsenal fans, but, providing he stays with the club, he could go on to be a big star. He is a central midfielder who can also play on the wing. He may still be very young, but he will be hoping to gain a scholarship in a couple of season’s time and will take things from there. Those who have seen him play have returned with pretty rave reviews, but we may have to wait until next season at the very least to see him in the u-18s.
Benik Afobe

Benik has been touted by numerous scouts as ‘The Next Best Thing’ and at just 15 years of age, you could be forgiven for thinking that all the hype could get to him. However, he is level-headed and concentrating on the task in hand. He has a phenomonal goals per game ratio for the u-18s and surely it won’t be long before he plays for Arsenal u-18s.
Chucks Aneke

The first time many people had heard of Chucks was when he was named in the England u-16 squad for the Victory Shield late last year. He is one who has slipped under the radar with the vast amount of quality players around him, but watch out for him in years to come.

    Good article once again mate!
Is Yennaris more a creative midfielder or more defensively?

Who are the two 13 year olds that Wenger was raving about at his news conference the other day saying they have nothing left to learn technically?
