First there was Gael Clichy, then Armand Traore. Now Cedric Evina looks as if he is the next off the seemingly endless supply of French left-backs that Arsene Wenger has at his disposal. He is yet to make his Reserve debut, but trains regularly with the first-team and is expected to get a scholarship next year. At just 16 years of age, we might have another gem on our hands here. Particularly considering how fast Armand Traore made it from being a schoolboy to a first-team player. Cedric is quick, skilful and versatile as he can play left-midfield as well. His only problem might be how he is going to get a regular place in a team that already contains two French left-backs of exceptional quality.

he is naturally a left-winger, but this season for the u-18s he has played mainly at left-back which is why rene steer has hardly got a look in this campaign and jay thomas has been pushed into midfield

oke mate, do u think his future at arsenal is on the left wing or as a left-back?

well, seeing as we have both clichy and traore at left-back, maybe it would be better for him to play left-midfield if he makes the first-team

Cedric is naturally a striker, believe it or not. but given his fighting qualities, his youth coach dermot, asked of him to convert to left back position, in which he has excelled.
Clichy will move to a bigger team than arsenal, and traore will play second fiddle to Evina, mark my words, he will be arsenal left back in 2 years max
